Bus Service to Co-operative Medical College

Have you ever had any reason to go to the Co-operative Medical College in Cochin? We all genuinely pray to God, so he may not make us go there. But, for people who have to visit the CMC for treatment, it is, in a way, quite inaccessible. With very few buses which take them to the hospital doorsteps from their locales, a visit to the hospital has become a notoriously tiring and time consuming affair.

In light of the grievances addressed to the state government, Kerala Government, finally has decided to flag off a bus service which will ply from the CMC in Kalamassery, Cochin to the nearby areas. For starters, areas such as Kangarappady, Vallathol Junction, HMT, Cochin Bank, Choondi, Pookattuppadi are to be linked to this route. It is proposed to be a circular route. The Chief Minister has also assured that, on a later date this service will be extended to other farther areas such as Mattanchery, Fort Kochi, and even Perumbavoor, Kothamangalam and Moovattupuzha. The Chief minister, has also assured that the buses would be delivered to the CMC within 60 days. The CMC authorities will very soon come up with route and bus-timings.  This announcement will surely let many frequent visitors breath a sigh of relief, as the dedicated service is sure to bring down the levels physical strain while cutting down on the travel time from the above-mentioned localities to the CMC.
