InfoPark have got its new leader. Ishita Roy, the Director of the Kerala State IT Mission (from Oct 2010) has taken charge as the Chief Executive Officer of Infopark with effect from November 26, 2010 and Siddhartha Bhattacharya, who was the CEO of Infopark from April 2008 has been relieved. Ishita Roy, a 1991 batch IAS Officer also holds the additional charge of Secretary, Environment Department, Government of Kerala.
The Infopark CEO reports to the Principal Secretary (IT), Government of Kerala and the Board of Governors of Infoparks, Kerala. Ishita will be responsible for the administration, management and implementation of various schemes at Infopark Kochi and Koratty and also the upcoming Infoparks at Cherthala and Ambalapuzha.
