Greater Cochin Develpoment Authority (GCDA) will organize a five day onama celebratiosn . The vcelebration is entitlied ponnona varavelpu and will be held at GCDA marine Drive walkaway from august 17 to 21 at GCDA Marine Drive Walkway.The event will be inaugurated by health minister P.K Sreemathi. 
Panchavaadyam by Kuzhur Narayana Marar will be the highlight of the first day. A special orchestra in tribute to singers Mohammed Rafi and Mukesh, music director Baburaj and poet Vayalar Rama Varma, will held on the third day. A special programme on Kalaripayattu – Ayodhanam- is scheduled on August 20. The programme will conclude on August 21.The visitors will be given a free Onasadya on the last day.
i wonder how can kuzhur narayana marar, who can hardly walk play the thimila for panchavadyam. i think it requires some correction on that part.
